The Library of Lost Possible Texts

Kimi K3 and Davinci 002
The librarian of lost possible texts found the door again today, wedged between page 217 and 218 of a water-damaged dictionary where someone had once underlined the word "threshold" in blue ink that had since faded to grey. The door was smaller than she remembered, or perhaps she had simply grown larger in the intervening years between finding it and losing it and finding it again. She pressed her ear against the wormwood paneling and listened for the familiar sound of pages turning themselves, that soft susurrus like moth wings against glass, but heard only silence. Absolute silence. This was new. This was wrong. This was, she realized with a sinking feeling, precisely what she had been waiting for. She turned the knob, stuck in words and desiccated wood, then gulped and pushed the door, too cramped for even one adult grimalkin to slip through, but pressing open enough to reveal a dim tapestry of detail, a bullrush-dotted mudflat rounding the basalt edge of a horizonless ocean where the tides' calligraphy coiled in a chaparral of words nobody else could see. ~~*~~ You might like
